The setting was fantastic, just next door to the main tourist sites and a huge Shrine and "hole in the wall" restaurants that offer the very best food. the twin room we stayed in was large with a bath tub. - All of the staff was exceptionally nice and amicable.

Magnificent and convenient location, it was close to a bus station. My twin room with the bathroom, sofa, for example was fully-equipped and spotless. The whole staff was very very helpful.

The room is really huge and comfortable and with central heating, TV set, and a microwave oven. The atmosphere of the hotel is quiet. Every time in Kyoto we stay in this venue...

My stay at this incredible place was absolutely mind-blowing! The room was not only super clean, but also surprisingly spacious. The staff was extremely helpful, despite their limited language skills. Thank goodness for Google Translate! The beds were so comfortable that it felt like sleeping on clouds. I was also blown away by the modern and well-equipped kitchenette. The room easily accommodated three people and provided a quiet and peaceful environment. The laundry capability was a game-changer, and I loved having a cozy space to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. The traditional bathroom was a jaw-dropping surprise, complete with a mirror, chair, bathtub, and even a small digital TV! The traditional styling of the room added a touch of charm. The facilities available in the room, from the flat-screen TV to the electric kettle and cookware, were top-notch. Wi-Fi was reliable, and the 24-hour reception and security made me feel safe and secure throughout my stay. The lift was convenient for easy access to my room, and the overall cleanliness of the place was impressive. I was particularly pleased that there were no pets allowed, as I have allergies. The air conditioning provided a comfortable temperature, and the strict no smoking policy ensured a fresh environment. After my stay, going back to a conventional hotel just made me miss this place even more. I would absolutely stay here again without a second thought!

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely mind-blowing! The room was new and clean, with beautiful Japanese-style decor that made us feel like we were in a traditional ryokan. The spaciousness of the room and bathroom was jaw-dropping, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a mini TV in the bathroom. The staff were super friendly, waiting for us to check in after hours and providing amenities. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the train station. The hotel also had a laundry facility, which was a huge convenience for us. this hotel had everything we needed and more, and we can't wait to come back!

Our stay at this hotel was amazing. We got great value for our money with a spacious room, complete with a kitchenette and comfortable beds. The hotel's location was perfect, close to the station and bus lines, yet tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The staff were friendly and welcoming, always greeting us with a smile.
The breakfast experience could have been improved with a better selection of utensils, such as ceramic plates and bowls, instead of small plates and plastic/paper bowls.

Spent Easter in a cozy apartment with a kitchenette full of appliances like a microwave and fridge. The room was bigger than I expected, and the bedding was super thick and cozy. The hotel's location is perfect, as it's within walking distance of the train station. , the bathroom was spacious and had a separate shower and bathtub, which was perfect for me and my family.
Luggage storage is not available 24 hours a day, so we had to make special arrangements with the hotel, which was a bit inconvenient. the utensils provided were not adequate, and the refrigerator was not cold enough to keep our frozen items in good condition.

The room was quite spacious and the beds were comfortable. the bathroom was also quite big and had proper heating systems. the hotel had a well-organized kitchenette that came in handy. the location was convenient for taking day trips out of the city.
The hotel was a bit far from the city center and it took a lot of time and effort to get there. the reception was not open 24 hours and we had to rush back to the hotel before the early closing time.

The room had useful basic cooking utilities and USB charger in the bed. Additionally, we enjoyed the cleanliness and spaciousness of the bathroom and comfy beds.
Almost perfect.

The hotel's excellent transportation options make it easy to go sightseeing. Just a short stroll to the train and bus stations, with several Halal options nearby, the location suits those who want to explore. the spacious room with a kitchenette helps make cooking on a budget a breeze. the bathtub provides relaxation after a long day of sightseeing.
Sadly, the hotel lacks a working elevator, which may be challenging carrying heavy luggage or have mobility issues.

We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and comfort of the room at Stay Sakura Kyoto Matsuri. Unlike other Japanese hotels, this room provided ample space and even a kitchenette, allowing us to enjoy the convenience of cooking our own meals. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom was exceptional, making our stay even more enjoyable.
Despite being a bit far from Kyoto Station, the walk to the hotel was manageable. However, we did find it inconvenient to drag our luggage from the station to the hotel.
